Peggy was so helpful and friendly and such a joy to work with.  My daughter plans to adopt a cat as well. We trust her and she has  a true love for kitties!

Denise knows so much about cat care and she gave me medicine to help my cat, even after I adopted her! These women are amazing!

I adopted my beautiful sweet boy from Cats are Good for the Soul a couple of months ago now (he was Goober) and he is such a great cat. He was healthy and happy when he came home with me, clearly had gotten socialized with people and other cats which helped out in my house. He was quick to sort out dogs too and has bee such a loving, sweet and funny boy. Thanks for taking such good care of him. Who would have guessed his mom was feral? Y’all are wonderful and do Columbia and surrounds a great service. 

I visited this rescue a few months ago and was gifted with my sweet baby Leo. I have rescued a fair amount of animals in my life, and I must say this particular rescue does a stand up job. Denise was helpful and responsive from the get go, making it easy for me to come visit the shelter to meet the kitties. They take wonderful care of their kitties and shower them with love so that you have a sweet, cuddly cat to take home with you that isn’t afraid. They included vaccinations, neutering, and flea medications as part of his adoption. I will recommend this shelter to anyone looking for a new pet. They genuinely care about the animals and you can tell from the start. Thank you!

We adopted a sweet little girl kitten from Denise and we couldn’t be happier with our new addition. Denise did a thorough vetting of us to make sure we would provide a good home and we truly appreciated that she had taken care of the initial vet visit. Denise is a wonderful lady with a huge heart for our feline friends!

I just adopted a 6 month old kitty! Once I was in contact with the rescue the adopting process was very easy and simple. The foster parents gave me tons of great information and even helped me work around my schedule for the pickup! Such an easy wonderful experience, you can really tell the foster parents love these cats!

Our family adopted a Siamese from this rescue and we couldn’t be more pleased with our selection. It was a pleasure to find Denise as she was amazing throughout the process. We liked that she kept us notified of our baby and sent pictures and videos as well as took the time to do a FaceTime call with her partner so we could meet our baby. We drove nearly 3 hours from GA to adopt from this rescue. It was so worth the wait and search to find “Cats are good for the Soul” rescue. It was very helpful to have our baby already neutered as that was a huge savings. Denise was excellent to give us all records and information about transitioning our new baby into our home. These ladies definitely put their “Hearts and Soul” into making a difference for all the felines they rescue. They go above and beyond to ensure the “match “ for each cat and family are ideal. We are also grateful Denise was able to work with us by extending our new baby’s stay at her rescue until we were able to make the trip to pick him up. Thank you both for making such a difference with the work you do by helping all the cats and families. You’re earth angels.

I adopted my beautiful Ophelia two weeks ago this coming Saturday. Denise the foster mom was so wonderful, she was easy to connect with and communicate with and she drove halfway to meet me to pick my baby Ophelia up. We’re doing great she’s getting acclimated to our family two rag dolls… Atticus and Serafina. Alive and well ….could not have done it without the love and care of this agency… couldn’t recommend more highly

This rescue is amazing! Denise and Peggy are caring, compassionate and 100% committed to their mission to rescue cats in need and place them in loving homes. I am grateful everyday that without question they rescued my Simba after he lost his owner and was left outside. I live out of state so they allowed a face time meeting with him, and Peggy was kind enough to meet me halfway so I could bring him home. I couldn’t be happier with my experience, and Simba is just the best cat ever. He sends them pictures from time to time so they can see how happy he is! I would definitely adopt from them again as they are a wonderful, caring group that save so many lives!
